Ok so we were 9 again for two or three hours Friday night as we ducked between cars and fired off hastily formed ice/snow balls at each other. We were only 3 blocks from the Pacific Ocean but it seemed like we had temporarily been beamed into an icy Mid-West winter. Well, that is until the local kids pulled out their boogey boards and anything else they could find to sled on the icy street waves.
It didn't last long though the 1/4" to almost 1/2" iceballs began tearing through the trees and budding spring flowers again and we rushed back inside to warm our cold fingers by the fire.
The next day I went for a ride with PJ and we tried to get some cool picures of the remaining phenom. We also just played a bit with the white stuff.
